Advise on what to do with my mortgage?

Hi everyone,

I have a mortgage to which I'm now unable to pay the monthly payments. Prior to my finding out about the OPPT and the UCC filings, I have been in contact with the mortgage company in the attempt to negotiate a lower mortgage. However, the negotiations have been unsuccesful. So now, I'm expected to continue paying the mortgage or begin to either sell or be forclosed upon (I prefer none of these). I would like to keep my home.

I've been doing plenty of research about this, but seem to come accross many conflicting information on what to do.

Can someone please advise, or point me in the right direction? Many thanks.

Hi Michael,

I am also in a similar position, I intend to fight the banks as our situation is somewhat complex. At one stage I found the forms to begin the battle but they have since seemed to have disappeared and can no longer locate them. If I ever find them I will upload them for your review to help assist you in making an informed decision.
