IRS -Sent courtesy notice

Post  reillytwo on Thu Mar 07, 2013 2:29 pm

So the IRS has been auditing me since last summer for the tax year ending 2009. They wanted to see my milage log. So everytime i'd send them something that they ask for they have these computer generated letters coming back telling me they are not allowing my deductions for milage because my milage log is not for the taxable year! What are they smoking! SO now they sent me a deficiency notice which is a letter telling me to pay up or take them to court.

Any ideas would greatly be appreciated. I have 90 days to take them to court but I just sent them a courtesty notice and a letter to advise them of the courtesy notice. I am not sure if I should just wait at this point or file papers to take them to court.

The letter they sent me is railroading me and it says that I will owe the money if i do not take them to court. I am not guilty so why do I have to take them to court. I also read 90% of their cases settle before going to court as they make a deal with you to settle so they dont have to clogg up the courts. Sounds like blackmail. I can't afford for them to just start garnishing my checks so Im not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance for the help Smile

Send the courtesy notice to the District Director only. I also have letters which have been successful.
Here is a copy of the CN I used which is not the same as OPPT. Let me know if you would like some help

Bereagun,

Thank you for disclosing that your version of the Courtesy Notice is not the same as the one created and supported by Chris Hales, Ken Bartle, Scott Bartle and the OPPT trustees. It's important that people know this.

I mentioned that in my post. I have submitted it to foropaq@gmail.com and to OPPT-IN and have had no response. I am modifying it again and will keep refining it to include the need info as it becomes available. If anyone had a better version I would appreciate seeing it. Anyone who want to discuss how to improve the process is a welcome BE'ing. Don't be a follower, understand the process and together we can improve and get this project of enforcing the taking back our freedom.

I have a letter in the form of an affidavit I have been using for the IRS for 20 years which is based upon the works of Otto Skinner and his book "The Best Kept Secret". If you want the paper just ask. I have been asked not to "spam post". I have a reply message from Ken Bartle on my CN. I will post the entire message and reply under Colorado. Please look there.

Beregun/Marc,

I am guessing that your reference to being asked not to "spam post" alludes to my requesting you refrain from posting your Talkshoe call invitation in many different places. Have you heard from Admin yet about creating a sub-board for meetings?

I think it's completely appropriate to include, within any of your future posts, a link to your post containing the illuminating email exchange you had with Ken Bartle about the Courtesy Notice.

Your energy here is greatly appreciated.

IRS Letter Otto Skinner Book

Post  Bereagun on Tue Mar 12, 2013 4:47 pm

Send me an email and I will dig up the letter.
Read the book by Otto Skinner - The best kept secret
I would suggest modifications to the letter to bring it into OPPT works.
We can work together on that.
