Heavy Child Support Debt...can't afford anything.... Empty Heavy Child Support Debt...can't afford anything....

Post  SanativeRevolution Thu Feb 28, 2013 9:53 am

My original case was in Illinois, then got transferred to California, where I am now, however my kid's are adults now, and I just got a letter from Florida stating I owe them too....A LOT. I guess the mother moved there some time ago, but I don't have a contract with California or Florida or even Illinois for that matter! Just default judgements because I couldn't afford to travel. ANYWAY..I need some help to find the individuals that send these out, or do I need to address each states courts individually? Thanks for your help in advance..

SanativeRevolution,

Can you give us whatever information you can find on the letter you just got from Florida that identifies the department, office, division, etc. that it came from? From which level of purported "government" did it come? State, county, city?

That's a good start.

Is there a "re" line on the letter or some sort of heading that indicates it's some sort of "statement" or "notice" or something? A "Notice of Delinquency," perhaps?

I just received another statement today from the State Of Florida Disbursement Unit address. The other address was from their initial contact with me. Statements are now coming from the State Disbursement Unit. The first round of letters were noticing the intent to report to consumer reporting agencies for the arrears. My address hasn't changed in over a decade, yet somehow I owe them a little shy of 70k!!?? Never a notice from them until January of this year! However, I owe them that much!!!??? The only heading in both letters were in regards to a CASE #, and a County Code = " 48 ORANGE ".

My daughter is attending culinary college in Orlando which is the county seat of ORANGE COUNTY so my ex-wife might have moved there. I don't keep tabs on her, it wasn't a very amicable divorce to say the least. That might explain the " Orange " in the County Code, however "48" refers to Clay County.. Rolling Eyes

Case Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
County: 48

This is exactly how it appears on the statements from the State Of Florida Disbursement Unit (FL SDU) -Minus, of course, the actual case number for confidentiality purposes.

See if you can find your case here:

Clay County Clerk of Circuit Courts Records Inquiry
http://odysseypa.tylerhost.net/Clay/default.aspx

If it's there, the details might tell you where in this process your case is now.

http://www.18884mydivorce.com/child-support-laws/how-florida-collects-child-support/

The Florida State Disbursement Unit (FSDU) appears to be operated by the Florida Department of Revenue, so that's probably the best place to look for the set individuals who might have been directly involved in sending you the latest notice.

I'm on it. I'll have something more for you tomorrow.

Marbolot,

I sincerely thank you for your insight and support, I have been spreading the news in regards to OPPT with mixed results and responses. I expected that. However, I have been in the "know" concerning UCC, Strawman, Monetized BC's, EFT's, Sight Drafts, and personal freedom and law for over a decade now. I think that what has transpired over the last year is absolutely phenomenal! I intend to seek remedy and help others as you are currently doing. Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing from you!

I entered my case # at the website you provided for 'Clay County Clerks of Court Records Inquiry' under "criminal" and "civil, family, probate" courts. No files were found.

In regards to how child support is collected, according to the second website, I would send a Courtesy Notice to the County Clerk as well, since that was the originator?

OK, then try Orange County.
http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/default.aspx

I would target just the state Department of Revenue for now, since that is where the latest notice came from. I am of the opinion -- and not everyone agrees -- that Courtesy Notices should go to the lowest level (former) employee(s). I think that really gets attention, because low-level workers (slaves) are not expecting to be singled out. In your case, there are a whole lot of low-level people in the Dept of Revenue who might be involved in sending out child support delinquency notices. People with the title "Revenue Specialist" with job descriptions like this one from a FL job openings site.

Revenue Specialist II - Dept. of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement
https://jobs.myflorida.com/viewjob.html?optlink-view=view-616239&ERFormID=newjoblist&ERFormCode=any

However, if you want, you could notice the director and deputy director of the FL Child Support Enforcement Program, who are:

The above information can be confirmed here: http://dmssalaries.heroku.com/salaries (To find all employees in Dept of Revenue, leave Employee Name field blank and select REV - Revenue in Agency drop-down.)

If it were me, I would not notice these higher-level people. Instead I would keep working to figure out which of the many Revenue Specialist I, II, and III individuals in the above salary database are in Tallahassee and involved in collecting child support payments.

Heavy Child Support Debt...can't afford anything.... Empty This is getting interesting and transparent at the same time..

Post  SanativeRevolution Fri Mar 01, 2013 3:56 am

Okay, so the record did pop up on the website you provided:
Orange County
http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/default.aspx

However, it didn't show much, but what was interesting was when she "filed and location":

07/16/2012
Family = (which is the department)

And the "type an status":

Income Deduction Order
Closed - Non SRS

Closed?? And what is "Non SRS"? Well, upon further research I found that SRS stands for "Summary Reporting System", and is used when a domestic case is processed in a Florida court.
However, the fact that the case was classified "Non-SRS" means it was not processed in court. It was just a county transfer, (more than likely from Clay to Orange) to prevent redundancy.

Found this interesting tidbit on bringing clarity to Florida Family Law Rules, could these people be a "source" in regards to origination and directives?
